GENEVIEVE CRON (FRANCE) 24 & 25 SEPTEMBER 2016
We are excited to host Genevieve during her first ever teaching trip to Cape Town.
Beside her scientific studies, Geneviève Cron first encountered the art of improvisation in 1993 and, 10 years later, contact improvisation (CI). Ever since she has been investigating human relations through play and movement – from internal movement to collaboration and opposition. She graduated in dance and movement therapy (MA Paris Descartes), thai massage, compassionate communication and is continuously training in theater forum (Boal), Argentinian tango and Aikido.
She’s been performing with improvisation collectives and teaches contact-improvisation, tango-contact, dance and gymnastics, both in Paris and elsewhere in Europe.
